You Deserve The Very Best When You Visit the Patagonia!
We’re located on the lake shore of Lago Llanquihue
(pronounced Yan Kee way), at the southern end of the Chilean Lake District. Your Patagonia eco adventures are based at our flagship Yan Kee Way Lodge, gateway to the
Patagonia. The reception and lounge, pictured at right, is nestled right on the beach, with spectacular views of 8,400 foot Volcano Osorno. Yan Kee Way proudly provides sport
adventures, cultural tours and fly-fishing expeditions and a wonderful lodge and restaurant to pamper you during your visit. Our deluxe lodging facilities and five star food services are well known.
Latitude 42° Restaurant is continually recognized and nominated as being the best restaurant in all of Chile,
outside of Santiago. It is one of only four restaurants in the country of Chile, including Santiago receiving the highest rankings by Frommer's travel guide. Our extensive wine cellar is well known
as one of the best in Chile.
Guests travel here from all over the world to stay with us. Our adventures are designed to satisfy
those who wish to participate in a wide-ranging variety of sport adventure and cultural activities as well as the most demanding devotee of Patagonia fly-fishing. Some of our guests come here just to
relax, in comfort in the splendor of the Chilean and Argentine Patagonia.
Our location puts you at the doorstep of the cross-lake trip through the Andes to Argentina. Once
you decide upon adventures that suit your personal interests, our deluxe facilities, high quality equipment and most importantly, our international staff of excellent individuals assure you will
receive the very best no matter what you chose to do during your stay with us.
Both of our lodges, in Southern Chile, are situated in two of the most scenic and beautiful areas,
which comprise the Patagonia. As your adventure guide, we will introduce you to the varied characteristics and cultures, which comprise this unique part of the world. We purchased over 3
,200 acres in two different locations in Chile, which provide you privacy and access to great rivers and lakes, centered in some of the most beautiful spots in the world. Our Patagonia adventure
properties are on the water with lake fronts. El Patagon is bounded, on the east, by a beautiful, trout filled river excellent for fishing and other water adventures. El Patagon is also very close to a
variety of waters touched by very few people all year long.
Our founder first wet his fly line in the Chilean Lake District in 1966 and he hooked enormous trout.
He also “hooked” himself on Chile. During the Pacific Northwest winter he lives at Yan Kee Way for much of the southern hemisphere spring and summer season. We encourage you to explore our
web site and you will understand why he does!

Patagonia, we hope to see you in our reception lounge at Yan Kee Way.
