We proudly provide Patagonia fly-fishing expeditions, sport adventures, cultural tours, lodging and food services which are considered the best in the Patagonia.

Guests from all over the world come here to stay with us. Our expeditions are designed to satisfy the most demanding devotee of fly-fishing as well as the individual who wishes to participate in a variety of sport adventure and cultural activities while with us in the Patagonia.

Some come seeking only a place to relax, in comfort, while in the splendor of the Chilean and Argentine Patagonia. Once you decide upon the activities to suit your personal interests, we have the facilities, the equipment and most importantly, an international staff of excellent individuals to assure that you receive the very best while you are our guest.

Expeditions begin here at our flagship YAN KEE WAY Lodge located on the shore of Lago Llanquihue (pronounced “yan kee way”), at the southern end of the Chilean lake district, gateway to the Patagonia. Our reception building, pictured at right, is nestled on the beach, with a spectacular view of 8,400 foot Volcano Osorno.

Our lodges, in Southern Chile and the South of Argentina, are situated in three of the most scenic and beautiful areas which comprise the Patagonia. As your expedition guide to all three locations, in both countries, we will introduce you to the varied characteristics and cultures which comprise this unique part of the world.

How did we make all of this possible for you? We started in 1991 and purchased over 3,200 acres in three different locations---two in Chile and one in Argentina. We provide you privacy and access to great rivers and lakes, centered in some of the most beautiful spots in the world. All of our Patagonia fly-fishing properties are on a lakefront, and two of them are bounded by beautiful, trout filled rivers for fishing and other water activities as well. In addition to great fishing, literally at your front door, we are on, and close to, waters that are touched by very few people all year long.

Our founder first wet his fly line in the Chilean Lake District in 1966. He hooked up with enormous trout and he “hooked” himself, as well, on the fishing, visual splendor and climate of Southern Chile. Leaving the Pacific Northwest winter behind, he lives here for much of the fly-fishing season, our Chilean spring and summer. Thus, as you might imagine, Patagonia fly fishing expeditions are one of our principal specialties!
