We leave Yan Kee Way Lodge for the Quinta del Lago farm. These wonderful people provide not only your horseback riding expedition; they have graciously contracted with
us to raise all of the young lambs we use in our restaurant, assuring us of a high quality food product.
Our horseback expedition departs for a ride through a beautiful temperate rain forest. Our mounts will carry us us on trails through pristine forests and meadows
where you will see beautiful color contrasts between the red Notros and the white Ulmo flowers interspersed in the deep green of the native trees and foliage. These flowers are the
origin of the delicious and fragrant Ulmo honey unique to the Ensenada area and Petrohue valley.
After enjoying this scenic ride in this location nestled in the Andes accompanied by incredible vistas of Lago Llanquihue and the surrounding Andean forests, we
return to our point of departure and to Yan Kee Way Lodge. Be sure to bring your camera on this adventure.
