Our trek begins with an early morning departure from Yan Kee Way Lodge.  We will ascend the flanks of Osorno Volcano, by vehicle, up into to the brisk mountain air at Refugio La Burbuja. Our trek will take us upward through the snow to an elevation of 5,905 feet.

We will enjoy our mile high plus vantage point for a picnic lunch in the area of the seracs and the fissures formed by ancient volcanic eruptions and enjoy the spectacular view of the entire valley, lakes and the Petrohué River.  Bring your camera!  Return to Yan Kee Way Lodge.
