Yan Kee Way lodge is located on lago Llanquihue(yan kee way), near the small town of Ensenada, Chile. The lake has a resident population of large browns and rainbows. Resident and migratory coho, king and Atlantic salmon make this their water as well. Nearby rivers and streams on Lago Todos Los Santos are 15 minutes away. The nearby Rio Petrohue, described by Roderick L. Hague-Brown in his book “Fisherman’s Winter,” is home to large brown and rainbow trout, which are supplemented by sea-run browns, steelhead, coho, king and Atlantic salmon, ranging from 20lbs right up to 70lbs!! Horseback expeditions, if you’re so inclined, provide access, through native Chilean forests, to beautiful lakes and streams off the beaten path.
Our flagship five-star Yan Kee Way resort is designed as a luxurious Eco Sport Adventure and Fly Fishing Lodge complex. Our guests enjoy close personal contact with Patagonian nature while participating in their favorite outdoor activities. At the end of the day, they relish creature comforts, exquisite cuisine and fine wines as they relax and recharge for tomorrow’s excitement. We are located just one hour’s drive north and east of Puerto Montt, on the shore of Lago Llanquihue (Yan Kee Way ), near the small town of Ensenada. Adventure expeditions are minutes away as Yan Kee Way is in the center of the region’s outdoor recreational activities. The resort complex is a complement of buildings nestled within a small 12-acre forest at lake’s edge, in the shadow of Volcano Osorno. Our Chalets and Bungalows provide the living environment of your own private vacation home. It is the perfect place for groups, families and couples to relax, but to also enjoy a variety of outdoor eco and sport activities including fishing for large trout and salmon as the seasons allow.
